Cold therapy increases your ability to deal with the sympathetic stress response. Routine cold exposure leads to reduced inflammation, quicker recovery from injury, a stronger immune response and the training of the autonomic nervous system which helps to control the chronic release of cortisol, adrenaline, epinephrine and other stress related hormones.
First introduced in clinical settings, compression therapy allows an extremely powerful method of self massage for our clients. The cuffs stimulate blood flow – rich in oxygen & nutrients – in a sequential manner, reducing muscle soreness, aiding in tissue repair and rapidly improving lower limb recovery in a relaxed setting.
